First Federation South Hub consist of 7 schools across the south of Devon. These are:
- Blackpool CE Primary School
- Gatehouse Primary School
- Aveton Gifford CE Primary School
- Newton Ferrers CE Primary School
- Salcombe CE Primary School
The schools work in closely in collaboration, and share staff expertise and resources to ensure the highest quality teaching and learning for the pupils in the schools.
Throughout the year, children in each school have opportunities to work with pupils across the hub in a range of exciting and enriching events and activities.
Black History Month - South Hub Virtual Art Exhibition and Ethos Event to celebrate diversity in the arts
Each school in the First Federation South Hub took part in a positive and uplifting art project to celebrate the wonderful work of black artists.
It was a great opportunity to celebrate the colour, vibrancy and beauty of their works as well as being a chance to talk to our children about the importance of equality and cultural diversity within our society.
Each school carried out an artist study of a famous black artist, which was used to inspire an artistic response.
We hope that you enjoy sharing the wonderful work that the children in our schools have created.
