Take 10 for mental health

Mental Health 

Looking after our mental health is incredibly important and something we greatly value at Blackpool school.

We use the 'Take 10' approach to remind us how to take care of ourselves and our mental health.

We deeply value our relationships and have a wonderful caring schools.  We also make sure we have spaces and opportunities to take a break if we need to during our school day.

 

Our Mental Health focus days.

We plan mental health days to particurlary focus on strategies to support our mental health.

We explore themes such as; the power of positive language and words and their effect on our self esteem.

 

 

 

We also explored techniques to help us relax and mindfulness activities.

 

We have read and explored lots of story books which help us to develop effective strategies to support out mental health.
