House System

At Blackpool Primary School we have four houses that your children will be sorted into when they start with us.

Houses include pupils from all age groups and support the children to interact with children of all ages and create a family feel in our school. 

Children meet regularly in their house families in activities such as assemblies, debates, craft activities and sports.

Houses are led by Year 6 house captains and prefects, who the house vote in each year, which also supports our British Values of democracy in action. 

 

Children will be able to purchase book bags and P.E. bags with the school logo in these colours.

 

Our house names and colours are: 

 

OAK - Red

FIR - Blue

ASH - Yellow

ELM - Green
