Whole School Home Learning Project
We have chosen to spend the first few days of this New Year, refocusing on our school values. This term’s home learning project has a whole school theme and has also been linked to our school values. We would like all children to focus on the theme of hopes and aspirations. We have particularly explored the word ‘hope’ since returning to school and what this means for us, our community and the world.
We would like all children to explore one of the following themes.
What are your aspirations?
What do you aspire to do or be?
What are your hopes and dreams?
What are your aspirations for our community?
What do you aspire to do in our community?
What are your hopes and dreams for our community?
What are your aspirations for our World?
What do you aspire to do for the World?
What are your hopes and dreams for our World?
Christmas in the Community
The 2021 Unit 1 Christmas trail around Liverton consists of 8 boards created by pupils in Unit 1 based on a theme of Christmas carols. The final board is displayed in the St. Michael's Church, Ilsington along with Christmas prayers also written by the children.
Remembrance Assembly

Pupils in Unit 2 led a Remembrance Service assembly for the school and parents, sharing the important message of remembering events from past conflicts, in order to learn and improve peace in the world in the future.
Harvest Festival Assembly

The chidlren in Unit 1 shared songs, stories and prayers to remind us to be thankful for our harvest and our farmers, and to ask for Gods help to look after those who are less fortunate than us.
